Breast Augmentation Surgery (Breast Implants)

Why a Breast Augmentation?

A Breast Augmentation can improve not just your physical appearance, but your self-confidence as well. When considering undergoing breast enlargement surgery, it’s important to determine the desired breast size and projection you wish to achieve. Here at Physician’s Institute, our doctors will consult with you and discuss your personalized options in terms of breast size, implant type and insertion methods.

What type of implant will be used?

Our Breast Augmentation patients have the choice of utilizing either silicone gel or saline breast implants. Your physician will explain the difference between the two, as well as show you both options so that you may make the best decision based on your desired look and feel.

How long does a breast augmentation procedure typically take?

A typical Breast Augmentation procedure lasts an average of one and a half to two hours, depending on several factors that will be reviewed by you and your Doctor.

How soon can I return to work after a breast augmentation?

Most patients can return to work three to six days following Breast Augmentation Surgery. You may not drive for one full week after surgery, and any heavy lifting should be avoided for three weeks. Light exercise, jogging, and other related activities can usually be resumed three weeks after surgery.
