Our doctors were founding members of the Cleveland Clinic/Memorial Hospital plastic surgery resident training program and have over 60 years of combined experience in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. They are highly credentialed, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and members of numerous prestigious organizations such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Broward County Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. J. Craig Uecker

Dr.Uecker is one of the founding physicians of the Physician’s Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a community-based practitioner focusing on a comprehensive approach to cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. As a native of Hollywood, Florida, Dr. Uecker has enjoyed establishing his surgical practice in his hometown and has been in practice since July 1994. Dr. Uecker received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Harvard University and graduated Cum Laude. While in high school he was awarded the Brian Piccolo Scholar-Athlete Scholarship and Henry Lamar Most Dedicated Scholar-Athlete while at Harvard University. He is a past Chief of Plastic Surgery at Broward General Hospital and along with Dr. Weiser one of the founders of the Cleveland Clinic Plastic Surgery Residency Program responsible for the training and instruction of new plastic surgeons.

Dr. Jonathan R. Weiser

Dr.Weiser is one of the founders of the Physician’s Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is fully trained in all aspects of modern plastic and reconstructive surgery including cosmetic surgery of the face and body, breast surgery including reconstruction, breast augmentation, and reduction, suction-assisted lipectomy, body contouring, breast implants, and microsurgical reconstruction. A Florida native, Dr. Weiser graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He is a founding surgeon of the Cleveland Clinic Plastic Surgery Residency Program responsible for the training and instruction of new plastic surgeons. He is also a multi-year past president of the Broward County Society of Plastic Surgeons.
